Restaurant POS Software That Your Team Can Learn in a Day — KiwiTri

A restaurant POS should make the Friday-night rush calmer, not add another screen to fight with. KiwiTri POS was designed around a single idea: every table, order, kitchen ticket and bill on one clear screen that anyone on your team can use.

A live floor plan, not a list

The POS home is your dining room. Every table is a colourful card that shows its state at a glance: Free, Running with the time since the order started, or Bill printed. Filter by area — main hall, outdoor, VIP — search by table name, or switch to a compact list on your phone.

Takeaway and delivery orders appear as their own banners above the floor, so parcels never get lost behind dine-in tables. One tap starts a new takeaway; a command palette (press Ctrl+K) lets fast staff jump to any table, dish or action from the keyboard.

Orders that reach the kitchen instantly

When a waiter adds items, a kitchen order ticket (KOT) goes straight to the Kitchen display. Cooks see each ticket with its table, items and notes like "less spicy", and tickets older than 15 minutes are flagged as urgent. Marking a ticket Ready or Served updates the floor in real time — no shouting, no paper slips.

Menu management that doesn't need a manual

Add a dish with a photo, price, GST rate, category, veg or non-veg tag, diet labels and allergens from a single slide-in panel. Toggle a dish out of stock with one switch when the kitchen runs out, and it disappears from the QR menu immediately. Categories show counts and emoji so large menus stay easy to scan.

Billing built for India

Reports that answer real questions

The Reports screen shows sales and bill counts for today, yesterday, the last 7 or 30 days, or this month, compared with the previous period. You can see busiest hours, sales by channel (dine-in, takeaway, delivery, QR order), payment mix, top dishes with photos, new versus repeat guests, and every bill — searchable and exportable to CSV. Tap a day in the chart to filter the bills for that day.

Part of the KiwiTri Hub

KiwiTri POS connects to Tap & Go QR ordering, loyalty stamp cards and Google review requests, all inside the KiwiTri Hub. It runs in the browser on any tablet, phone or PC, so you can start with the devices you already own.

Choosing a restaurant POS: a short checklist

  1. Can a new staff member take an order without training?
  2. Does the kitchen get orders instantly, with urgency flags?
  3. Are GST and UPI built in, not add-ons?
  4. Can guests order from a QR code at the table?
  5. Can you see today's sales from your phone at home?

If the answer to any of these is "no" with your current system, it is worth trying KiwiTri POS on your own floor during the free trial.
