Digital Loyalty Stamp Cards That Bring Customers Back

A free coffee after ten visits is one of the oldest marketing ideas in the world, and it still works. What doesn't work any more is the paper card that ends up in the wash. KiwiTri Loyalty keeps the idea and fixes the card.
How KiwiTri digital stamp cards work
- You switch on the stamp card in Loyalty and choose the reward — for example, "10th visit: free dessert".
- Customers join by scanning your QR at the table or counter. No app download, no long form.
- Each visit adds a stamp. Customers see their progress in the KiwiTri wallet on their phone.
- When the card is full, they show it to claim the reward, and a new card starts.
Why digital beats paper
- Nothing to lose. The card lives in the customer's phone, next to the QR scanner.
- No fake stamps. Stamps are added through your system, not with a rubber stamp anyone can buy.
- You learn who your regulars are. Each member has a name, visit count and last visit, so you can thank them or invite them back.
- It connects to your other tools. Members can be reached later with an email campaign through KiwiTri Mailing.
Private feedback before public reviews
The Loyalty screen also collects short feedback from guests. Unhappy comments come to you privately first, so you can fix a problem before it becomes a one-star review. Happy guests can be guided to post on Google with KiwiTri Reviews.
Insights you can act on
The Loyalty dashboard shows members, stamps given, rewards earned, repeat-visit rate and recent feedback in clear tiles. Use it to answer simple, useful questions: Are new guests coming back? Which day brings the most repeat visits? Who hasn't visited in a month?
Designing a reward people want
- Keep it reachable. Five to ten visits is ideal for cafés and quick-service restaurants; fewer for higher-ticket businesses.
- Make the reward feel generous but cheap to deliver — a dessert, a coffee, a free add-on.
- Start customers with a bonus stamp on their first visit; a card that's already started gets completed more often.
- Tell people. A small table card and a line from staff ("Want a free dessert on your 6th visit?") do most of the work.
Works with the rest of KiwiTri
Loyalty is built into KiwiTri POS and shows in the KiwiTri Hub. Customers keep their cards in the same customer wallet they use to scan your QR menu, so joining, ordering and earning stamps all happen in one place.

No. They join by scanning a QR and keep their card in the KiwiTri wallet in their browser, which they can add to their home screen.
Can I choose my own reward?
Yes. You set the number of stamps and the reward.
Can I see who my loyal customers are?
Yes. The Loyalty dashboard lists members with their visits and last visit.
Does it work outside restaurants?
