Write an AI video brief before generating footage

KiwiTri · 25 October 2026 · Practical guide

Tools create imagery quickly but cannot decide your business promise. A brief supplies a standard beyond visual impressiveness.

Put it into practice

  1. Specify audience, objective and placement.
  2. List facts and prohibited inventions.
  3. Assign script, visual and export approvals.

Treat generation as one stage in a production process. Keep the script, factual references, source permissions and approval notes together. Inspect the finished export on a phone, with and without sound, rather than relying on a large editing preview. Any realistic synthetic depiction should receive the disclosure and permissions review appropriate to its use.

A practical example

A resort teaser can mix real footage with abstract transitions while prohibiting invented rooms.

Illustrative example, not a reported client result.

What to measure

Judge comprehension as well as production time.

Avoid this mistake

Generated scenes are not evidence of a real property's appearance.

Your next step

Choose one action from the checklist and assign a person to complete it. Record the current situation, the change you intend to make and the evidence you will review. Set a review date that gives the change enough time to produce useful observations. Keep what works, adjust what does not and note anything the data cannot yet explain.
