Direct an AI voiceover for clarity and credibility

KiwiTri · 25 October 2026 · Practical guide

Good direction starts with language. Natural voices cannot rescue overloaded sentences or competing calls to action.

Put it into practice

  1. Read scripts aloud.
  2. Specify pronunciation and pacing.
  3. Use authorised voices with fluent review.

Treat generation as one stage in a production process. Keep the script, factual references, source permissions and approval notes together. Inspect the finished export on a phone, with and without sound, rather than relying on a large editing preview. Any realistic synthetic depiction should receive the disclosure and permissions review appropriate to its use.

A practical example

Tamil and English restaurant films may need separately adapted scripts and checked menu pronunciations.

Illustrative example, not a reported client result.

What to measure

Test through ordinary phone speakers.

Avoid this mistake

Do not clone identifiable voices without authorisation or imply false endorsement.

Your next step

Choose one action from the checklist and assign a person to complete it. Record the current situation, the change you intend to make and the evidence you will review. Set a review date that gives the change enough time to produce useful observations. Keep what works, adjust what does not and note anything the data cannot yet explain.
